Overview

The Louisville Slugger LXT 2024 builds upon the already impressive legacy of its predecessors, offering a seamless fusion of pop, balance, light swinging, and an unmistakable, satisfying sound upon contact with the ball.

One of the standout features that has contributed to the LXT’s legendary status is its remarkable pop. The LXT 2024 takes this characteristic to new heights, thanks to advancements in composite material technology.

Construction & Features

As with the previous two versions, the LXT comes in -8, -9, -10, and -11 drops. All versions are balanced in swing weight, with some weight placed on the end of the barrel for more power.

As for the technology implemented in the bat, we haven’t seen many changes. PBF Technology Speed Composite Barrel makes another appearance, delivering a responsive performance with a big sweet spot. The same can be said about the connection piece and the end-cap, and they are the great VC2X connection piece and the COPA end-cap.

They give the bat its signature flex, remove unnecessary vibrations, and optimize durability.

Performance

With the 2024 LXT, hitters can anticipate an explosive trampoline effect, translating into increased ball exit speeds and longer distances on well-struck hits. Whether you’re aiming for the fences or focusing on precision placement, the LXT 2024’s enhanced pop is sure to make an impact on your performance.

The bat is extremely light-swinging and offers exceptional control, which can rival bats like the DeMarini Prism+ or DeMarini CF.

While available in drops -8 and -9, which are intended for power hitters, we must say that there are better options than the LXT for them. It simply can’t compare to the sheer power of the Easton Ghost or the Rawlings Mantra.
