RCSD's Accelerated Learning Program provides an educational environment for students in grades 3 - 8 that is designed to meet the unique needs of high achieving students and to enable them to develop to their fullest potential.

The Redwood City School District offers a variety of after school options at most school campuses, including programs run collaboratively with local partner organizations and privately-run after school programs available on some school campuses.

Healthful, nutritious meals provide the energy that students need to succeed in school throughout each day of learning, playing, and exercising. Well-rounded meals served in RCSD schools are created using USDA nutrition guidelines as well as “kid-approved” recipes.

The Department of Multilingual English Learners and Categorical Programs is responsible for managing and supervising services dedicated to RCSD students who are in the process of acquiring the English language.

The mission of the Redwood City School District Technology Department is to deliver high quality support for students and staff in a friendly atmosphere with trust, confidence and respect.

The TK class provides more opportunities for social-emotional and language development, including mathematics functions through interactive, hands-on activities, which helps students develop and build upon existing skills to be successful in kindergarten, and stimulating classroom centers, which focus on science, mathematics, writing, arts and crafts, community role play, etc.
