RCSD's Accelerated Learning Program provides an educational environment for students in grades 3 - 8 that is designed to meet the unique needs of high achieving students and to enable them to develop to their fullest potential.

Teacher induction is a professional development program required by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) to clear a teacher's preliminary credential in the State of California. It is typically a two-year program that incorporates mentoring and is designed to offer support, guidance, and orientation for first-year teachers.

The mission of the Redwood City School District Technology Department is to deliver high quality support for students and staff in a friendly atmosphere with trust, confidence and respect.

The TK class provides more opportunities for social-emotional and language development, including mathematics functions through interactive, hands-on activities, which helps students develop and build upon existing skills to be successful in kindergarten, and stimulating classroom centers, which focus on science, mathematics, writing, arts and crafts, community role play, etc.
