Good birthday gift

22 May 2022

The whole ambience of the place was lovely ……service could be hugely improved with the right staff training…..staff need to enjoy what they a doing which will naturally bring a smile to their faces …..having said that the young man who was the head of staff was very charming and nice. ??Food was delicious …… my suggestion would be to increase their vegan choices as it can be done with the use of plant based yougurts and cream and even vegan desserts………as a vegan the 2 dishes that I had although limited choices…. were very delicious.

Some food nice but didn’t like it all & service slow

26 January 2020

We were disappointed that the menu featured on your site was completely different to what we had. Service was nice but slow as the restaurant was very busy. We had to wait at least 10 mins after each course. Noisy atmosphere & not a fan of the deserts especially saffron kulfi, would have preferred sweet only & no savoury flavour. Many thanks

The rule of thumb I've most frequently encountered is to allow 10–15 minutes per course — and to add an extra 3–5 min. in the case of wine pairings. So a 7-course (arguably the default number of courses in a given tasting menu) could take anywhere from just over an hour to close to two hours.

Why do people like tasting menus? ›

How to structure a tasting menu? ›

For me, a tasting menu should be a progression of flavors and tastes from light to less light, they should be hyper seasonal, aware of the terroir of the restaurant, they should be cool, inventive, and give people a chance to try things they may not have tried or even thought to try.
