The Yagniks Residence (2024)

"Design to communicate, not just to decorate!" – is what Mr. Pranay believes in and thus we here at Pranay Shah Designs create designs that communicate the clients' personality and taste.

The Yagniks' is a 4bhk apartment in the urban settings of the Bhayli area with every amenity present in it for one to have a lavish dwell. The bungalow offers luxury giving an opulent vibe. The client who approached us whose only requirement was to make the space modish and elegant with overall turnkey solutions. Our overall motto was to enhance the space by not designing any kind of partition structures and to portray the whole space as large as it was. Using different kind of finishes and self designed elements, ‘The Yagniks' was a perfect residential design for each and every member to find their space into it."

On giving a first glance to the residence, providing all the turnkey solutions, the exterior area of the house is specifically designed in a rustic and stone theme play by our interior designers with diagonal geometrical patterns which blend completely with the designs created in the safety grill as well as the main door. Stepping into the foyer area, the antique finished wall on the right with unique paintings give more power to its simplicity. A beautiful console is designed by our interior decorators that give a seating too for one to be comfortable while wearing their foot wears.

Moving forward towards the dwelling, we see a whole wide space that includes the living area, as well as the dining area and thus no partition is created to make the space look as huge as it was. Being a whole huge space the couches are kept in the centre without any wall support and so a different kind of couch design was approached here which had a kind of showcase behind it defined as a space to keep some valuable stuff. The wall where the TV was to be placed also had an entrance door to the parents’ room. To make everything look in harmony, our interior designers designed the TV wall in such a way that the room’s floor seemed flushed and looked as a part of the whole TV wall design. The ceiling of this area was defined in two parts. One was in a modern wooden finish that resembled with the overall theme of the space i.e. grey in colour. Whereas the other part was simply designed to make the space look sober. The dining table was beautifully designed by our interior designers which included metal pipes finished with metallic coating. A unique kind of console table was designed for the dining area which was a semi-round piece and had a real wood finish structure that bought emphasis to the area. The same texture as of the foyer area was chosen for this area too to let everything seem in rhythm.

Having a glance at the kitchen area, initially the breakfast table was not provided so our interior designers included the same into the design with a quiet pleasant look of the breakfast table having an elegant hanging light which was specifically designed by our interior designers that also had some amount of planters that induced liveliness to the space. The whole kitchen furniture was designed with back painted glass that makes it look very soothing as well it comes out to be a material that can be easily cleaned. The wall tiles in the kitchen were chiefly selected by Mr. Pranay from the exclusive collection of tiles from Spain.

Moving forward here we talk about the parents' room where the common factor assumed by all is that it should be designed simply with calm colours. On the contrary, our interior designers designed this space in such a way that it was kind of beguiling. The members who were going to use the room were aged people but at the same time they wanted a space in which they could spend a great time without getting bored of the space. And thus we as interior decorators had to complete their wish and so we designed a contemporary room with kind of soothing effects in it by using exposed brick work on the wall behind the bed that seemed magnificent as it had a niche in it where handicraft plates were decorated that made it more pleasing. The bed was artistically designed by using bright colours for the head rest making it look ravishing. As per the clients' wish a small seating was also designed that served the purpose for one to become comfortable having a side table kind of structure that also had a drawer being multipurpose. Handwork block tiles were selected for this space that completely blended with the overall theme of the space.

Further we halt by the master bedroom that is designed in a combination of royal and a modern touch. The exquisite pattern on the wall behind the bed that included moulded border design and metallic paper justified the importance of the room being royal and modern. The ravishing head rest with metallic onyx theme on it made everything look more luxurious and divine. The wardrobe has a stone effect finish with self designed handles of a bird’s wings that look completely creative. A rug was customized specially for this room to harmonize with the other elements of the room.

The toddler’s room is designed completely keeping in mind the age factor of the children so that they enjoy the dwell in their room. A concept of the mountains, moon and stars was developed here. The headrest was kind of inserted into the pattern of the mountains that looked inventive. As per the requirement of both wardrobe and study table in the same room, a study table is designed by the interior designers attached to the wardrobe which fulfils both the requirement together. Previously a niche was given in the room and so that was whimsically converted into something more artistic by decorating the wall with bears and giving toy storage for the toddlers.

The guest room was designed simply to make it look simple yet elegant. The wall behind the bed had a handicraft paper decorated on it which that gave a pleasurable look to the room. The curtains of this room were customized using the colours of other finishes of the room so that everything looked in harmony. The wardrobe had hidden handles that gave a clean look to it.

Every area of this house was decorated with potted plants to bring liveliness to the spaces.

With thorough cooperation and liberty from the client to design, we were able to provide a design that satisfied them with all-inclusive turnkey solutions.
