Kate Beckinsale is a British actress who is best known for her portrayal of Selene in theUnderworld films. The daughter of late actor Richard Beckinsale, she made her first television appearance at the tender age of four. While she was a student at Godolpin and Latymer School, the brunette became a member of the Orange Tree Youth Theatre.
