Fade Street Social

If you’re ready to try some delicious tapas & co*cktails, head over to the Gastro Bar at The Fade Street Social. Run by celebrity chef Dylan McGrath’s, the menu offers food in a tapas format, meaning you can share different bites with friends and try several things on the menu.

The mini goat logs wrapped in ham and then brushed with truffle honey are superb, The skinny fries with parmesan, bacon and onion pureé are also favorites. As for the co*cktails, try the hotsy totsy or The mojito royale.

Brunch at Brother Hubbard

If you have a thing for brunch (don’t we all?), and want the best of the best, you need to go to Brother Hubbard. What started as a simple coffee shop, has established as one of the greatest places in the city, beloved by foodies, hipsters, and everyone who enjoys quality food, specially the breakfast kind.

If you are a vegan you can try the vegan avo and peppers toast (toasted sourdough, with avocado smashed avocado & chick pea spread, topped with roast peppers) for those carnivores, get the Eamon’s chorizo rarebit, a sandwich of chorizo & espresso jam, which tastes as good as it sounds.

Earlybird at The Pig’s Ear

So let’s say you want Michelin guide quality food, but you are on a budget, then drop by The Pig’s Ear for the early evening menu. Served everyday (before 8 pm that is) the food created by chef Stephen McAllister.

Stephen has created new take on Irish classics which includes plates like Lambay Island crab with the duck fat roast potatoes. You will want to try the lemon rice pudding with white chocolate, raspberry and hibiscus. The best thing? it’s a steal, two courses will cost you €21.95 and three Courses will be €26.95

Street Food Glory at The Eatyard

For the best street food in Dublin, you have The Eatyard. Eatyards is ocated right next to the Famous Bernard Shaw pub in South Richmond Street, This market runs from from Thursday to Sunday.

This market caters to every need, from your big juicy burger at Box Burger (make sure to try the Louisiana Chicken burger) to your plant based food at Veginity.

Don’t miss the stand selling the typical Venezuelan dish called arepas, which cornbread which have all types of fillings.. The Eatyard has something for everybody, and it’s usually under 10 euros per person.

Finish with a Bang

Bang on Merrion Row is a locals favorite & a foodies delight. It was included in the 2017 Michelin guide, and serves exceptional food with gorgeous presentation. The ingredients are locally produced, and everything is cooked according to the season.

You get to choose between three menus, and for a gastronomic adventure, they offer a 5 courses tasting menu. For vegetarians, they have an you must try charred the sweetcorn with summer truffle & slow cooked egg, if it’s meat you want, the slow cooked lamb is phenomenal.

Being a Dubliners favourite, it’s usually packed so make a reservation.
